Blooming good business for Jannoel

New Jannoel Florist owner Stacey Hogan has found the transition from florist to ownership a learning experience.

But it's been a positive one for the mother of four.

After working at Jannoel Florist, the opportunity came up to purchase the business. With an excellent reputation, Stacey was excited to takeover the business.

"It was a great opportunity for us," she said.

"It felt like the right time but we decided to move the shop's location for a bit of a fresh start."

Jannoel Florist is now located just across the road at 160 High St has found business has been booming.

"We have been very lucky and haven't experienced a dip in business," she said.

"We found the border closure (at first) a bit challenging for deliveries and whether we'd be able to get over.

"But people are still buying flowers, celebrating birthdays and milestones."

Everlasting - or dried - flowers have been a huge trend and Stacey said people are loving them.

"They have been really popular," she said.

"My personal favourite is the King Protea. They last forever and are make a statement."

Jannoel Florist is open from Monday to Saturday with delivery and online orders available.
